PRE-PRIMARY

We follow the Montessori system which is the most modern and globally accepted method of schooling, nurturing and supporting the innate abilities and potentials of children whose skills are developed in and through ‘learning by doing’ method.

Montessori educational system enables the children to develop in them, a sense of creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and time management, and there by molding them to become a fulfilled persons in their particular time and specific place on the earth.

The basis of Montessori practice in the classroom is to teach the children to respect each individual by promoting unique skills, allowing them to follow the activities given to them uninterrupted.

PRIMARY

The scheme of studies, the scheme of assessments and the course of studies prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi [CBSE] are strictly followed. Textbooks prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi [NCERT] are followed from Grade 1 onwards. The medium of instruction is English.

MIDDLE

We firmly believe that every child is unique. Our comprehensive middle-school curriculum is carefully designed to align with CBSE standards, ensuring an excellent academic foundation and fostering exceptional academic achievements among our students.

SECONDARY

We believe that preparation for a student’s future career begins at school. Thus, our Secondary curriculum consists of skill-focused programmes that will broaden their knowledge in key subjects while also fostering communication and critical thinking skills. Our secondary education curriculum is based on CBSE guidelines aligned with NCERT courses to keep our learners on par with international educational standards. Furthermore, we try to facilitate an interactive learning experience while placing due emphasis on theory as well as practical. This helps students gain mastery over academic disciplines and their areas of application. Thus, rather than just knowing, they get to learn, analyse and apply their knowledge in real life.

Examinations and Evaluations

To reduce the pressure of term-end exams on our students, we conduct weekly tests on various subjects. This helps them thoroughly understand the course material and have in-depth insight into the related topics. It also provides teachers with an opportunity to analyse the shortcomings of each student and help overcome them in order to ace the exams. When it comes to periodic tests and terminal exams, we conduct them as per the CBSE guidelines.

SENIOR SECONDARY

Curriculum

Senior Secondary is one of the most important phases of a student’s formal education. During this period, students get the option to choose which stream they want to study and pursue a career in. Guidance and mentoring play an important role in helping them choose the correct stream and encouraging them to achieve their dreams.

M. G. School follows the CBSE curriculum at the senior secondary level and provides education stream as follows:

Stream 1:

English core, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Information Technology

Stream 2:

English core, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, Health & Physical Education

Stream 3:

English core, Accountancy, Business studies, Economics, Computer Science, Health & Physical Education.
